ABOUT MEGAN
Mom, Wife, Neighbor, and Pizza Lover!
I grew up in southern Massachusetts. My family spent vacations exploring communities around the state including Lincoln, Woodstock, and North Conway. Some of my favorite childhood memories include learning to ski at Loon, exploring the Polar Caves, and looking for treasures at Ruggles Mine.
I was a preschool teacher for 12 years with most of my time spent in the older toddler room with the 2 and 3 year old toddlers, aka "The Potty Training Room". I have helped to potty train over 100 children over the years.
Then in 2015 I transitioned to the tech world. I moved to Portsmouth, NH to work at a tech company. I met my husband, we fell in love, and got married in 2018. When we were looking for a place to settle down and start our family, Brentwood was the obvious choice. We appreciated the rural small town feel and having a great school system was a must.
Our daughter was born in the summer of 2021. We have two dogs. We consider Loon Mountain our home away from home. When we are home one of my favorite pastimes is making pizza!
Why are you running for two offices?
I learned about the Trustee of the Trust opening after I had decided to run for Library Trustee. I believe my skill set lends to establishing processes that include various checks and balances while reducing redundancies and risk. I feel that these two positions are complimentary and allow me to help our community in a multi-faceted approached
